Another orange pansy and my first black rose! Today I started with watering all of my flowers. Apparently you won’t have wilted flowers the next day and I hate those ugly looking wilted ones. I wonder for how long I’m going to keep this up..

Cookie wanted a cute shirt so I tried some clothes from my dresser.. but they were not good enough and this is how she reacted… with very different emotions!

I had a new friend over today. She wanted to catalog the frog outfit and I got to catalog the cat top, yay! Apparently she likes Camofrog very much too. Camofrog must have not seen her standing behind me..

Stupid Joan would not sell me a red turnip. I guess trying to get the game clock on the same time as the wii (which means, I changed it to about 2 minutes earlier or later) was a bad idea.. and I’m being punished for those 2 minutes as if I had time travelled. Unbelievable.

Now Camofrog wants to move. Noooooo!!!! I convinced him to stay pretty quickly though.

Midna got her basement! And the weirdest shoe shine ever; pink shoes with a yellow bar shirt and fiery hair. Oh well.. Need to give her some proper clothing soon.

Midna checked out the hra and found.. falleri’s room there!! (mine!!) Apparently Lyle was very much into my music box from Katie. Wanted to know “where I got that puppy”. But I’m not telling.

Poor Cookie, not so happy with her present.. and Camofrog blacks out every now and then.

Not even one hybrid today.. :(

Today I found one new orange cosmos on my daily route. I made another snowman too, even though I have the set complete.. however I was stupid enough to roll my snowball into the pitfall seed corner where I couldn’t get it out of unless I walked into that pitfall myself.. :D A not so proud moment indeed.

Pelly finally gave me the golden watering can! I was beginning to think it would never happen, this being the 19th day already.. Apparently Greenpeace had something to do with it all. Or some other group that I never heard of maybe..?
Midna went to get her golden watering can too, of course. You can never have enough golden cans.

Hopper invited me over to his house!! I got to pick out something.. or, eh, buy something from his collection. And he told me about his dream girl. I got this weird Twin Peaks sensation when he was doing so..

Saturday night, time to listen to K.K. play. He IS weird..

…and another aurora borealis, apparently Cookie has a hard time remembering what it’s called though..

Today there was a point special. I ordered lots of nice stuff; some black katanas for friends and a lot of stuff from the Japanese set for my main room. I gave all the snowman furniture to midna who is going to have her basement tomorrow.
And.. Nibbles wants to talk to Elko about wall designs.. must remember to warn him!

Again no hybrids and no golden watering can. What is UP??
I did however get to play hide and seek! Nibbles suggested it and found Bud and Cookie willing to go along with it.

Nibbles was a bit sad about being found. It wasn’t her big feet I saw though, it was her head sticking out.. like Cookie’s right there :D It looks cute huh?

Nibbles was a gracious loser and Cookie just had to share something with me after the game..

My mailbox was overflowing with letters today. All the townies sent me happy new year’s cards! So cute! I felt bad because I hadn’t.. and I didn’t even have the new year’s card stationery.. Hmpf.

I completed two fossils today! The dimetrodon and the styracosaurus.

I knew Portia was mean.. but today she really went too far, and she really hurt Nibbles talking about Nibbles’ perfect boyfriend.
Good news: I finally completed the snowman set! I had to put the last perfect snowman right next to my house, of course.

Poor Hopper wants to be slim like me.. I tried to talk him out of it, after all, penguins are round and cute, but I guess he’s just too manly for that. I had a little conversation with my other favourite ac man too; Buck. I met him in the city and he was very scared of Katrina. I wonder what she said to him..

Today was the last day of 2008. I found just one pink cosmos, and 1 jacob’s ladder. No golden watering can.. I must have messed up somewhere :( My snowman set is almost complete though; got another perfect snowman. And, I saw Resetti again, in his surveillance center.

Apparently Nibbles and I are BFF’s! :D
Don’t the lanayru flags look great on that big weird counter of Tortimer’s?

Nibbles is even more peppy than peppy. I guess it’s the excitement for the new year!

Drake tries to grasp the concept ‘future’.. and Tortimer is talking about socks. This day is getting weirder and weirder each minute!

Today was the 15th day of perfect town status.. or so I thought, because Pelly would not give me a golden watering can.. I did grow new hybrids: a purple pansie and an orange rose.

I decided to be generous and donated 500,000 bells to the town fund (I was very sorry to be informed later on that the fountain will be built after donating 400,000 already.. so I just threw away 100,000 bells.. ah well..)
Drake wants to move..

Scoot and Goldie however started a fan club of frogs. Goldie just changed into a frog shirt here. Do you think this has anything to do with my frog suit and cap.. or are they Camofrog’s groupies…? I’d like to think they’re my fans, since Camofrog obviously has some problems to sort out.

I found a pink cosmos and a blue pansie today. The pink cosmos is doing great in my town. And, I got the silver watering can! Yay! Not the golden one though, it’s day 14, maybe tomorrow then.
I saw Wendell too.

Poor Nibbles lost her key. She was so upset about it, she was having a meltdown, thinking she would have to eat dirt, sticks and bugs.. how sad!
Lucky for her, I caught her key swimming in the river. Apparently the little ketchup mark on it had survived the swim, can you imagine? Must have been some ketchup..

In the end of december I finally caught a popeyed goldfish. I had not really looked for it since I hadn’t checked what fish I was still missing.. so it was quite the surprise. I had thought it wasn’t there in winter, or whatever. Anyway, according to Blathers, popeyed goldfish look the same as normal ones when they’re still young.

Here I am at town hall, bringing a biiiiiig bag of bells with me.. after this conversation with Pelly, there will only be 14,460 bells left.. and hopefully she’ll tell me tomorrow that we’re going to build a fountain.

Mario- or James- gave me a starman, nice of him, huh? Now there’s just one more Mario item left for me to find.. the green pipe. Also, I got the snowman dresser.. almost there..

Cookie gave me a new nickname. Hopefully the rest of town will catch up with that quickly, because Dearie is not my favourite so far.

Another day with hybrids! Today it was 2 pink cosmoses, on spots I wouldn’t even have expected them..

Goldie apparently doesn’t have much respect for my profession. Well, boo!

I love my peppy little Cookie and Nibbles. They crack me up every time!

Today midna met Buck in the city! After Lily, this was my 2nd favourite villager in wild world. Also one of the original townies and he cracked me up. I don’t like all the jocks, but Buck was different. We were bff’s. Until Lily split and I deleted my town.. :S
Camofrog see me as one of his minions… do I forgive him? Do I give him the fossil if I find it? I have to think about this..

Ah! Redd was so kind to actually sell me a real painting again. The proper painting is hanging in the museum now. Yay!!

I bought 500 turnips from Joan, for 107 bells per turnip and I did not make a perfect snowman today :(

So today I decided to take pictures of all the new hybrids. I got one jacob’s ladder, which means I now have 3.. because I accidentally destroyed one :S I also got a black cosmos and an orange rose.

Midna’s house has a first floor, finally! I think I will give her the mario and snowman furniture as soon as she has enough room for all of it. Then I can just do with my house whatever I want but still display those sets.
Meanwhile, it’s getting colder and colder in lanayru. It’s snowing again and Cookie is afraid her ears are going to fall off.. poor Cookie.

Saturday: K.K. time! I finally got Stale Cupcakes. I heard that song in someone’s house and I was waiting all week for K.K. to show up so I could request it from him. He was quite surprised I had heard of the song.
Midna saw him for the first time, so he decided for her. She got a copy of Surfin’ K.K.

I totally messed up my snowman today, unfortunately. And I sold my turnips for 116 bells. Left one pack of turnips on the table, to see if they would really rot overnight..
